Burnt Store Isles

Burnt Stores Isles (BSI) is a deed-restricted, golfing and waterfront community located in south Punta Gorda.  It is newer and smaller than Punta Gorda Isles with roughly 400 golf-course homes and 1,000 canal-front homes.  Properties consist of single-family residences, condos, and villas; houses are typically custom-built and range from modest bungalows to large Mediterranean-styled homes.  Like PGI, all canals and seawalls on these properties are maintained by the City of Punta Gorda.

Boaters in the community may want to consider joining the Burnt Store Isles Boat Club.  It is open to all members of BSI, regardless of boat ownership, and offers several activities throughout the year, including cruises to local marina restaurants and East Coast resorts.

Burnt Stores Isles has a voluntary property owners association - the Burnt Store Isles Association (BSIA).  It was established in 1983 as an avenue for property owners and residents to continue improving their neighborhood and coordinate with other civic groups as they consider development plans for the area.
